Growing up in my parents’ design studio in downtown Toronto, I developed a love of glossy magazines at a young age. My lifelong passion for reading and telling stories about innovative thinkers, dreamers, and doers led me to pursue a career in journalism. And after earning a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University, I set out to explore more than 50 countries to document arts and culture, design, food, and the outdoors through written and visual mediums.
Spoiler alert: I’ve never quite kicked my travel bug. Today, my work is featured in National Geographic, Condé Nast Traveler, Vogue, Architectural Digest, The Globe and Mail, AFAR, Travel + Leisure, Bloomberg Pursuits, enRoute, ELLE Canada, the Toronto Star, and Time, among others.
In addition to writing, I’ve held a number of editorial roles including the Managing Editor of NewsGIF, an experimental news app that Refinery29 called their “new favorite way to get the news each morning,” and the Founding Editor of Here & There Magazine, a quarterly art publication. As an experienced content strategist, I regularly consult with with startups about their digital presence and have created branded content for a number of companies including Shopify and Airbnb.
When I’m not on the road, at my keyboard, or brainstorming with clients, you can find me practicing yoga, reading novels, or lacing up my running shoes to hit the trails.
